Make Your Network

With the new year, it’s time to build your network. At the Council and District levels, that’s what your Council of Governors is focused on doing in the months leading up to our State Convention in May.

Lion Richard Stevenson says, “If you don’t post a picture, it didn’t happen!” — and he’s right! Let’s take his advice and start ‘tooting our own’ successes in our communities — the service activities, the fundraising events, the good work we’re all doing.
In the business world, our success goes beyond merely the financial reward of doing a good job, providing a good service, and receiving compensation (and accolades) for it. A long time ago, I learned that the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. In our new digital world, our “first step” is making the call, sending the email, texting the message. You’ve got my cell number, the email for the digitalCSL is canyonstatelion@lionsarizona.org and you can text: (928) 612-2351.
Think of it this way, we’re ALL the editors and reporters of LionsArizona communications. Let’s take charge of how, what, where, when, and to whom we send our message. That’s how we’ll make our network …work!
