21B District Governor
Harold “Chip” Kline



Lion Chip Kline has been a Lion since 1996. Lion Chip has served in most positions in Lions Clubs and has been a club president 5 times. He has served as Zone Chairman twice and Region Chairman. He also has been the District Tail twister, District Sgt. At Arms, Lioness Liaison ( 6 Years) and the District Chaplin for 6 District Governors. For his service to the District he has received many District Governors Certificates of Appreciation. Lion Chip also served on the Board of Directors for the C. Kirby Smithe Lions Youth Camp and served as Treasurer and served on the Board for 6 years.

Lion Chip has certificates of Appreciation for helping with the USA/Canada Forum in Tucson in 2000. He has attended two USA/Canada Forums and the International Convention in Denver. Lion Chip has also graduated from the Senior Lions Leadership Institute, held at Oakbrook, Il. and a graduate of the Lions Facility Development Institute. He is a Certified Guiding Lion as well as the District LCIF Coordinator.

Lion Chip has received an Extension Award, International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation, Lion of the Year, two Melvin Jones Fellowships, 5 member key award and the Proud Lion/ Proud Sponsor Awards.

Lion Chip is very involved in his community with being on the Board of Directors of the Tombstone Senior Citizens, Inc., President and CEO of the Emmett Kelly Jr. Scholarship Foundation, Past Chaplin of the Tombstone American Legion, Lifetime member and Past Chief of the Tombstone Vigilantes.

He has been married to Lion Annabelle since 1991 and he is currently employed by Cochise County part time.
