Cabinet Secretary Laurie Genz

Laurie joined the Sierra Vista Lions Club in 1990 - sponsored by Lion Nancy Small. She has served as Zone Chair and as her Club’s President, Secretary, Membership Director, and has served as chairperson on numerous club committees.

She has received honors including:

• Melvin Jones Fellow;
• District Lion of the Year;
• Club Lion of the Year

Outside of Lions, Laurie is a Department of the Army civilian managing hazardous waste disposal operations. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband (Lion Mark), their two sons and daughters-in-law, and their four grandchildren.
