Lions Camp Tatiyee gives individuals with special needs the opportunity to spend a week away from home in the White Mountains of Arizona enjoying activities and meeting new friends. Through this experience, many campers tell us that they gain independence and confidence by trying new activities and challenging their personal limits.
Campers attend for one week in the summer, arriving on Sunday afternoon and staying until Friday afternoon.
Located in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona at about 7,000 feet, Lions Camp Tatiyee sits on 88 acres in a beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest on the Mogollon Rim. Campers have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of programs including: hiking, fishing, swimming, go-carting, art, archery, recreation, nature exploration, cooking, mud pit, talent show, dances, and campfires.
